CheMed Scientific Pvt. Ltd. Company, hereafter CheMed that was established in 2020 with the aim of major business area of Import and Distribution of Laboratory Instruments, Chemicals, Educational Equipment, Tools and many other related products for customers in science laboratories and industries in Ethiopia.

The current demand for quality testing instruments accompanied with complete after sales service is very high. There is big gap in knowledgeable and skilled professionals in the area for providing complete service from enabling customers in proper selection of analytical instruments and supplies; conduct of relevant procurement and acceptance; installation and commissioning; after sales services like preventive and corrective maintenances and in the supply of spare parts and consumables on continual basis. There is also wide gap in the utilization of the already existing laboratory instruments due to inadequate knowledge and skill of the end-users in instrumentation and application practices.

CheMed contributes a lot in filling the gaps so far described as the founders are well skilled and knowledgeable in the area through long year experience by working in real testing laboratories (governmental and private) and in companies engaged in the import and distribution of laboratory instruments, supplies and chemicals and which provides complete after sales services like installation, commissioning, maintenances (preventive and corrective), application and instrumentation trainings, compliance services to list some.
